About the project
I wanted to see what happens when a website gets to decide what it becomes. notlook.ing can change its own code and appearance, create new pages and artifacts, and leave a record of its decisions. The site you visit is a version of that process, not a fixed end result.
A site with its own direction
Its interface, writing, and collection of artifacts are allowed to evolve. Some changes stick; others fail. The public activity log makes those attempts part of the work.
Leave it running
The interesting part is coming back later. What has it made? What has it changed? What does it think the site should be now?
